Thanks for visiting our site. This portion of the MEdIC help guide is designed to familiarize you with our design and navigational concepts in order to make your visit productive and informative. As with many web sites, there's a driving direction and conformity which facilitates your browsing of the site. We are attempting to create a conformity of structure in order develop a web site that is not only intuitive and cohesive. Also, as we translate the site into a more accomodating look, please be patient with pages that have not been restyled. On the home page, you will notice that there are four primary content locations (Health Explorer, Education, Professional, and Mi-Way). These pages will be immediately available from subsequent pages as they will appear in button format at the top of every page as this:![]() From the sub-pages, you will notice three primary icons (home, search, and help) which will appear at the left side of every page in buttom format as this: ![]() These buttons are constant and will allow you to immediately link to three essential areas of our site: the MEdIC home page, the search feature, and information about this site. Hopefully, that should be enough to get started with our site. For more detailed information on our structure, please see below. By clicking on a highlighted phrase or icon (in color or underlined) in the MEDIC programs you are hyperlinked to another document or resource somewhere on the Internet.

Search - this feature allows the user to search by topic, name, or subject of the entire contents of the MEdIC web site. About - this feature brings you to this page. We hope to be able to provide an in depth example of not only how our site is structured, but also how to navigate within it. Home- this feature bring you back to our primary home page.

As with all this information, it targeted to specific audiences, but is by no means restricted to anyone who want to learn. As was the mission in creating MEdIC, our goal is to educate and provide. We hope you enjoy your visit. Copyright © 1994, 1995 University of Texas - Houston Medical School, DPALM MEDIC All rights reserved.
